OBB x Alexandria House
OBB was introduced to Alexandria House at the end of 2019 and was inspired by their mission of radical compassion and the community of women and families who call Alexandria House home. OBB worked with Justin Bieber, Scooter Braun, Allison Kaye, Shauna Nep, and Universal Music to develop and produce Justin Bieber’s official music video INTENTIONS featuring Quavo with an impact component benefitting the women featured in the video as well as the Alexandria House organization. The team established an Intentions Fund at Alexandria House with a $200,000 gift and encouraged fans of the video to contribute to the organization as well.
With help from the Intentions Fund, women at the Alexandria House – including those featured – have been able to continue pursuing their college degrees, secure housing, secure much-needed transportation, and maintain a sense of normalcy and security even through the most challenging months of 2020. As a result of the video, Alexandria House has seen an 800% increase in web traffic, more than 200 donations from around the world, and significantly more reach and exposure due to the 218MM views on the video as of August 2020. INTENTIONS, directed by Michael D. Ratner, is nominated for “Best Pop” Video at the 2020 VMAS.
For Women’s History Month 2020, OBB partnered with Girl Gang to create a capsule collection to further support the mission of Alexandria House. We are proud to celebrate the women and families of Alexandria House through our work and charitable initiatives.
