Anthony Anchelowitz

Executive Assistant to Michael D. Ratner

Anthony is the Executive Assistant to Michael D. Ratner at OBB Media, where he supports the CEO and Founder, and the entire OBB team, in handling day-to-day scheduling and logistics.

Originally from Long Island, NY, Anthony went to the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Film and Communications. Outside of the classroom, he was introduced to the world of producing as a founding member of Nexo Productions, where he created branded content for startups and student groups on campus. His guilty pleasures included singing a cappella, hosting competitive PowerPoint parties, and impulse-buying a crane for the music videos of said a cappella group. He continued supporting the university arts by producing the first-ever Penn concert at Carnegie Hall, bringing students to the Carnegie stage in New York City for a now-annual event.

After graduating, Anthony took his passion for music and film to the west coast to intern for Marc Platt, working in film, TV, and theatre development for eight months on music-driven projects like Rent: Live. From there, he assisted Kristin Burr for two years in the development and production of four-quadrant family films such as Craig Gillespie’s Cruella and David E. Talbert’s Jingle Jangle, before joining the OBB team in 2021.

When not in the office, Anthony can be found with a cold brew in hand exploring new hikes in LA, attending concerts and comedy shows, waiting in line for a Cofax breakfast burrito, or simply at home doing deep dives on his favorite artists’ music videos.
