Maddy Roth

Maddy Roth is the Vice President of Social Impact at OBB Media, where she oversees the company’s charitable initiatives and works to drive social change through OBB projects and clients.

Prior to joining OBB, Maddy was a Foundation Executive at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where she served as a strategic advisor to actors, writers, directors, musicians, and athletes on their philanthropic and social change efforts.

While at CAA, Maddy launched the Full Story Initiative, an industry facing effort designed to generate more authentic and equitable storytelling in television and film in partnership with 27 leading nonprofit organizations and activists. She also supported the formation of the Civic Alliance, a nonpartisan group of businesses working together to build a future where everyone participates in shaping our country, reaching over 5 million employees nationally.

Maddy graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BA in journalism and international development and conflict management. She is a founding member of I am a voter., a movement that creates a cultural shift around voting and civic engagement. When she’s not encouraging people to text OBBVOTES to 26797, Maddy’s probably watching a show she promised to wait to watch with her partner, heading to the desert or dessert, or googling vegetables in her CSA box.
