Nicholas Marell
Outside Council
Nicholas Marell is Outside Council for OBB and has been working in the entertainment industry for over a decade. The Florida native practiced for five years in Lionsgate Television’s Business and Legal Affairs department. Eager to work more directly with individual clients, Nicholas started Philips Marell LLP – a law firm specializing in production legal work.
Nicholas works across the OBB portfolio, including Bolded, and Fanatics Studios on their film, television and commercial projects. Nicholas began his career working on set as a production coordinator and line producer. This practical experience gives him a unique perspective into the work of clients like OBB. Nicholas is a graduate of George Washington University and Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. He lives with his wife Sherry, son Sonny and daughter Margot in Studio City, California.
