Pilar Brito

Pilar Brito is the Senior Vice President, Corporate Counsel at OBB Media, where she serves as the company's key legal advisor on corporate, commercial, and strategic matters working across the entirety of the OBB portfolio, including Bolded and Fanatics Studios

Prior to joining OBB, Pilar was an Emerging Companies and Venture Capital attorney at Cooley LLP, where she advised dozens of startup clients across industries on venture financings, M&A, and general corporate matters, and served on deal teams for landmark transactions including The Honest Company's $475 million IPO and a multi-billion-dollar consumer products merger. She also served as Legal Counsel at Human Capital Investment Management, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm with $2B+ in assets under management, where she led all deal analysis, diligence, and negotiations across the firm's investments and oversaw fund formation for a flagship raise. Pilar has also been a content creator herself, having built community of 150K+ followers across platforms with a focus on wine (she's a certified sommelier) and hospitality — giving her a firsthand understanding of the unique challenges creators face and a distinctive perspective she brings to OBB's work with talent, brand partners, and sponsors. Pilar received her JD from Yale Law School and her BA, cum laude, in French Studies from Dartmouth CollegePilar received her JD from Yale Law School and her BA, cum laude, in French Studies from Dartmouth College.
