Serena Miniter

Development Assistant

Serena Miniter is a Development Assistant at OBB, where she works alongside development and production executives.


Serena graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020 and was a Cinema and Media Studies major. Growing up in New York City, Serena always knew she wanted to pursue a career in entertainment, film, and TV. Serena developed her passion for content creation and film at an early age when she founded her school’s media program, News 91. Serena was the editor, director, producer, and on-camera host of the video news show, producing comedic sketches and broadcasts of interviews and live events. Growing up, Serena enjoyed singing, dancing, acting, and creating her own short films and videos.


Prior to joining OBB, Serena worked as a production and administrative assistant for Jordan Peele’s show The Last O.G, starring Tracy Morgan. Serena spent time taking classes at NYU Tisch and UCLA, studying the business of entertainment, producing, screenwriting, and filmmaking. In the summer of 2018, Serena interned at The Gersh Agency in Los Angeles in the Film and Television department. While at Penn, Serena worked at Nexo Productions, producing short commercials and assisting on-set filming. She also wrote her first full-length screenplay during her Junior Year.


In her free time, Serena enjoys watching movies and catching up on the latest TV shows. She loves music, going to concerts, and spending time with her friends and family.
