Simone Spira

Simone Spira is an Unscripted Development and Production Executive at OBB Media where she helps oversee and produce unscripted projects across all stages of development and production.

Most recently in her OBB tenure, Simone served as the executive producer of Demi Lovato's A Very Demi Holiday Special, which premiered as the #1 on-demand title streamed on Roku during premiere weekend. She also co-executive produced the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Special for ABC and Hulu, which featured Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Cher, and more, and brought the highest total viewer delivery since the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Special was first televised in 2013. In addition to tentpole projects for OBB LiVE, Simone executive produces content for Hailey Bieber’s YouTube channel, including her flagship talkshow, “Who’s in my Bathroom?” spinoff series “what’s in my kitchen?”, content for rhode, and other formats across the channel. She’s also helped produce content for Kevin Hart, Kendall Jenner, and more. 

Prior to joining to the OBB team, Simone survived the cut-throat world of daytime and late night television, having talent produced over 100 episodes of Steve Harvey’s Emmy winning daytime talkshow, “Steve” and over 160 episodes of Lilly Singh’s late night show, “A Little Late with Lilly Singh.” She moved on to be a supervising talent producer for David Letterman’s Netflix series, “That’s my Time with David Letterman,” in addition to being the co-executive producer for Cardi B’s Meta series, “Cardi Tries.” In 2022, she developed, sold, and executive produced a 10-episode family docuseries for E!, “Mathis Family Matters.”

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Simone has spent most of her life sitting in traffic on the 405. She’s passionate about the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers (and heartbreak apparently), advocating for women’s rights, and making the show, “Love Island UK” her personality 8 weeks out of the year.
