Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Scott Ratner co-founded OBB Media after spending several years as a corporate attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2016, Scott has acted as Chief Operating Officer, managing OBB’s day to day operations in addition to overseeing the company’s legal, finance, accounting and human resources departments. In his role as COO, Scott leads high level negotiations with financiers and distributors, talent and brand partners, and oversees all of OBB’s individual deals across the OBB Pictures, OBB Sound, and OBB branded divisions. In addition to acting as an executive producer on all of OBB’s film, TV, podcast and branded projects, Scott has focused on building out OBB’s facilities business with the introduction of OBB Studios in Hollywood launching in Fall 2022.

In his previous life as a Wall Street lawyer, Scott represented Fortune 500 companies on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, and securities law. Scott, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as Fordham Law School, is a hip hop enthusiast and lifelong pro wrestling fan. He was named as one of Hollywood’s top negotiators in Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report 2020.
